In the afternoon, transfer to Ein Karem, birthplace of St John the Baptist, visiting the church commemorating his birth and the Church of the Visitation. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Visit the Mount of Olives, including the Chapel of the Ascension and Pater Noster Church. Walk the Palm Sunday route to Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Continue to the Western Wall and Mount Zion: Upper Room (Last Supper), Tomb of King David, Church of the Dormition and St Peter in Gallicantu, the house of Caiaphas. Return to Bethlehem for dinner.

Visit St Anne’s Church, then walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit Golgotha and the Tomb of Christ. Continue to Bethany to visit the Tomb of Lazarus, with Mass celebrated in the chapel. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Travel through the Judean Wilderness to ancient Jericho, the oldest inhabited city in the world, where Mass will be celebrated. Enjoy views of Elisha’s Fountain, the Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree. Visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrolls, followed by free time at the Dead Sea for floating or relaxation. Return to the hotel for dinner.
