As young men and women all over the country wait for their A-level results, Amir recounts how the summer he turned eighteen ended on October 7th and he describes how life has been since then. He describes his childhood in Gaza City and his hopes and fears for the future - both for himself and the thousands of children who congregate in Al-Deraj neighbourhood since the school was bombed in 2024.
