Pilgrims of Hope for the Holy Land
"We make a heartfelt appeal to Christians in the UK: Do not be afraid to come on pilgrimage. But come as pilgrims of solidarity. Meet the local communities, listen to their stories, and buy their crafts. Your presence is a powerful message that they are not forgotten." Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England and Wales - Department for International Affairs Holy Land Co-ordination 18-23 January 2025
We ask you to join us as Pilgrims of Hope for the Holy Land. With your help we can transform solidarity into action through...
Connection
By creating a platform for Christians to share their testimony in real time via Zoom we can learn from their witness and resilience.
Support
With greater understanding of their experience we can be in closer fellowship with the world's oldest Christian communities and make their story more widely known.
Presence
To travel as pilgrims and tourists to the Holy places with a deeper relationship to the people and the land. To meet with our new found brothers and sisters, and by God's grace, with Christ Himself.
Some Christian brothers and sisters in the region have already volunteered their time to connect with us. We need you to make this a reality!

Amount
We want everyone who wishes to join us, to have the possibility of pilgrimage.
To help with this, we have established a fund to subsidise costs for people who would otherwise struggle to afford it. Any money which is not used for this purpose will be donated to Christian charities such as Friends of the Holy Land or Custodia Terrae Sanctae (see below).
Volunteers Needed
We are a small group.
We need your support to achieve our goals.
We welcome anyone willing to offer their time, energy, and ideas to shape this project.
This is a grassroots movement and we are at the very beginning. We recognise our role may be simply providing a forum for other people to develop this project.
People with better ideas, greater skills, and clearer vision who can inspire pilgrimage and connection with the forgotten people of the Holy Land.
